Randy Roberts joined the firm in 1992. Since being
licensed in 1977, his primary areas of practice have been civil and
commercial litigation and dispute resolution. He is licensed to
practice before all trial and appellate courts in the state of Texas,
as well as federal courts in the Northern and Eastern Districts of
Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States
Supreme Court. He has been certified in civil trial law by the Texas
Board of Legal Specialization since 1989. Mr. Roberts has also received
specialized training in mediation and alternate dispute resolution, and
has been an author and speaker on Texas trial practice and procedures
at approved continuing legal education seminars.
At Blalack & Williams, Mr. Roberts
provides counsel to credit unions and other commercial clients in
connection with disputes that may arise in the course of their
operations. He has a broad range of litigation experience, having been
lead counsel in matters involving complex and varied issues such as
lender liability claims, class action suits, commercial fraud actions,
trade secret and unfair competition litigation, contract disputes,
employer-employee relations, consumer litigation, and intellectual
property rights. Drawing upon the experience gained through more than
25 years of practice and dozens of trials, Mr. Roberts assist clients
in exploring creative and innovative ways to resolve, or preferably
avoid, business disputes.
