Rob Woodcock joined Blalack & Williams in
2002 and concentrates his practice in creditor's rights litigation and
collections. Prior to joining the firm, Rob maintained a heavy civil
litigation caseload as well as devoting substantial time to residential
real estate and landlord/tenant issues. He currently prosecutes and
defends the firm's clients in both state and federal courts. Having
completed well over 100 trials and countless hearings, he is
well-versed in all aspects of litigation, including the full range of
motion and discovery practice, in addition to conducting both bench and
jury trials.
Rob is also licensed to practice in each of the
four federal bankruptcy courts in Texas where he focuses on adversary
matters and trials. His state court practice includes such areas as
collections, garnishments, general civil litigation, sequestrations,
DTPA and FDCPA defense, wrongful termination defense, seizure suits,
foreclosures, and other matters involving creditor's rights. Rob's
practice is primarily devoted to servicing all the litigation needs of
the firm's clients. Similar to other attorneys in the firm, he
maintains an interest in pro bono work and assists low-income
individuals in the local area with their legal concerns.
