We have an extensive practice addressing Texas consumer real estate lending, representing credit unions and other financial institutions across the state.  In particular, we have developed comprehensive loan document packages for the new and rapidly developing area of Texas Home Equity lending, including Home Equity lines of credit, together with traditional home improvement lending.  Our real estate attorneys are available to answer questions concerning Home Equity loans and Home Equity lines of credit, home improvement loans, and traditional mortgage lending together with statutory and regulatory authority affecting consumer real estate lending in Texas.

We represent lender and commercial clients in all phases of property acquisition, sale, development, and leasing. In this connection, we are familiar with all Texas real estate issues pertaining to these transactions,  including title examination and resolution of title issues, preparation and review of loan and lease documents, resolution of survey and easement issues, and zoning and access problems. In addition, we are equipped to provide guidance on environmental issues from the perspective of the purchaser, the seller, or the lender.    

We conduct a statewide foreclosure and collection practice covering all types of real estate loans, including foreclosure on mortgage loans, commercial real estate loans, and Texas Home Equity loans.
