Mike Blalack is a founding shareholder and principal of Blalack & Williams. Since 1975, Mr. Blalack has focused exclusively on the representation of state and federal credit unions, concentrating in the following areas:

  • Lending and deposit account system development
  • Consumer credit and collection issues
  • Collections litigation
  • Truth in lending
  • Secured transactions
  • Bank deposits and collections

Mike Blalack was instrumental in the development of many of the earliest open-end credit products in the industry. He is a frequent lecturer for state credit union leagues, trade associations, credit union chapters and individual financial institutions. He also provides frequent counsel to financial institutions on matters affecting directors' and officers' duties and responsibilities.

Charles Williams is a founding shareholder and principal of Blalack & Williams. For over 35 years, he has represented credit unions and financial service providers in matters involving:

Sharon Sjostrom's practice focuses on:

Sharon Sjostrom joined Blalack and Williams in 1989, and since that time has developed a widely acknowledged expertise in the area of debtor and creditor law. Sharon is the senior manager of the firm's extensive creditor bankruptcy practice coordinating the representation of scores of financial institutions across the Southwest and all districts throughout the State of Texas. Her practice involves:

Randy Roberts' practice focuses on:

Randy Roberts joined the firm in 1992. Since being licensed in 1977, his primary practice areas have been civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Mr. Roberts provides counsel to credit unions and other commercial clients with disputes that may arise in the course of their operations. His broad range of litigation experience includes:

Mark Kazemba's practice focuses on:

Mark Kazemba concentrates his practice at Blalack & Williams on consumer financial services regulatory compliance issues. Prior to joining the firm, Mark served as in-house compliance counsel at a one billion dollar credit union. Mr. Kazemba advises financial institutions and vendors on complying with the myriad laws and regulations affecting deposit and loan operations, including:

Chris Blalack's practice at Blalack and Williams is focused in the area of collections, collection litigation and bankruptcy. Since 2004, Chris has lead the Charge off Collections Division at Blalack and Williams. He has created and organized firm guidelines, procedures, techniques and methodology for the Charge Off and Collections Litigation units where he:

  • Manages debt collection, fair credit reporting and garnishments
  • Ensures compliance with FDCPA and TDCA regulations
  • Oversees prompt reporting and comprehensive monthly accounting for the firm's clients

Chris Blalack is a member for the Federal Bar of the Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas. He has received post-graduate training in Professional Practices Management Systems prescribed by ACA International.

Rob Woodcock's practice focuses on:

Since joining Blalack and Williams in 2002, Rob Woodcock's practice has focused on servicing all litigation needs of the firm's clients, concentrating on creditor's rights litigation and collections. Rob is licensed to practice in all four federal bankruptcy courts in Texas, focusing on adversary matters and trials, In state court, his practice includes:

Mr. Woodcock is well-versed in all aspects of litigation, including the full range of motion and discovery practice, in addition to conducting both bench and jury trials. He, like other attorneys in this firm, maintains an interest in pro bono work and assists low-income individuals in the local area with their legal concerns.

Tom Duke's practice focuses on:

Tom Duke has over twenty years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Blalack & Williams in 1996, he served as Assistant General Counsel and Compliance Officer of a major Texas bank holding company. During the banking crisis of the early 1990's, Mr. Duke was employed by the FDIC to document the foreclosure and sale of both commercial and real estate properties. At Blalack & Williams, Mr. Duke assists the firm's clients with diverse projects including:

  • Foreclosure on mortgage loans and Home Equity loans
  • Document development for consumer, investment and rental property loans
  • Review of vendor contracts and loan agreements
  • Home Equity, Mortgage, and Home Improvement lending

Mr. Duke provides extensive training for credit unions in all areas of Home Equity lending and is a frequent speaker at Home Equity seminars throughout the state of Texas.

Anna Williams Adamo's practice focuses on:

Anna Williams Adamo focuses her practice on the representation of financial institutions in the areas of collections law, collections litigation, corporate governance, and creditors rights.
